Abilio Matusse amadorece e ganha a segunda prova sem nenhum desafio.

Num dia de bastante vento Abilio Matusse demostro que este ano ele esta com boa forma no inicio da epoca. Cinco kilometros apos o inicio sambula fez a primeira tentativa contra o grupo sendo neutralizado por Matusse levando junto Akuji e Malaia.

Dez kilometros depois Sambula volta a tentar a fuga na subida do Rio Matola. Matusse respondeu criando uma dupla em fuga. Akuji e Malaia tentarão perseguir mas não deu frutos. Faltando 50kms Sambula volta a atacar Matusse levando a velocidade a 41km/hr. Matusse por sua vez aumentou para 53km/hr desmontando Sambula que acabou pro desistir.

Matusse foi a meta sozinho enfrentando o vento frontal alto (20km/hr) nos ultimos 20kms ganhando a sua segunda prova.

Abilio Matusse comes of age and wins his second title without any challenger.

It was a windy day and Abilio Matusse showed that this year he is in good form at the begining of the season. Five kilometers after the start Sambula made his first move which was netralised by Matusse taking Akuji and Malaia with him.

Ten kilometers later Sambula tried his second attack on the Rio climb at Matola and Matusse responded with ease creating a two man breakaway. Akuji and Malaia tried to bridge the gap but were not strong enough. With 50kms to go tried to lifted the pace in an effort to put Matusse into difficulty. In turn Matusse raised it further to 53km/hr dropping Sambula who called it quits.

Matusse rode alone in the final 40kms and faced a strong head wind (20km/hr) with 20 kms to go winnning his second title.
