Alvaro defended his title easily on Sunday. He is now the new Time Trial Champion of the copa unseating Imran Akuji the 2006 Champion. The battle for second place is still on and it seems that Joao Antonio is on his way to claiming the position after his second spot behind Alvaro this Sunday.

Vicente Mafumo took third with Imran coming in fourth with a difficult ride after a month of fasting that ended on Friday. Rui Ferreira tested his new machine Bianchi 9-2-8 Nano Carbon coming in a credible fifth with Abilio Matusse taking sixth. Manuel Malaia took seventh bearing in mind that Malaia is new to the sport.
