ITT 20.7km - 3 February 2006 (Matola Circuit)
Friday was D-day.
Everyone showed up, and that’s what really matters. But the day belonged to non other than Werner Schofmann clocking in at 34:22. The closest anyone came to his time was 38 seconds off.
The surprise of the day came from David (35:00), Jorge (36:34), Ernesto (36:55), Rui (37:03), Bill (37:34) who bettered his time by a huge margin from his recorded personal best on the route.
Still fighting for form Danilo and Messias, who were both way off their recorded personal best on the route.
This coming Sunday 12, February we will be faced with a dreaded 80 km race. 220 points in total are up for grabs. 60 pts total for sprints and another 60 pts for KOM, leaving 100 pts for the winner of the race.
